API and webhooks

Connect your own systems

Create keys with only the permissions you tick, so your systems can add contacts, read calls and place calls. Webhooks post signed events to your server when a call completes or a campaign changes.

Without it

Your systems need to know what happened

Your app does not know the call ended

Someone has to look it up and copy it across.

A key with too much power

One key that can do everything is one leak away from a bad day.

A webhook fails in silence

Your server is down, and nobody can tell what was missed.

How it works

Getting started

  1. Create a key

Tick its permissions. It is shown in full once, when it is created.

  2. Try it safely

A sandbox key reads but never writes.

  3. Add a webhook

Give an https address and pick events: call.completed, call.wrapped_up and campaign.status_changed.

  4. Verify each delivery

Each is signed with the webhook's secret. Send test event posts a signed test to that address only.

Keys and deliveries

What each key may do, and what happened to each event.

  • A webhook whose last 50 deliveries all failed pauses itself. Fix your server, then Resume.
  • Events while paused are skipped, not sent later.

What you control

What you control

Permissions per key

A key can only reach the addresses listed under API reference, and only with the permissions you ticked.

Revoke

Stops everything using the key, at once.

Delivery history

Open a webhook to see its last 50 deliveries, and why the last one failed.

New secret

Issuing one stops the old one at once, so update your server straight away.

Who uses it

Who it helps

Developers

Scoped keys, signed events, and a place to see why a delivery failed.

Product teams

Calls started from your own app, with results sent back.

What it costs

  • The API has no charge of its own.
  • ₹3.5 to ₹8.5 a minute, by plan. A call placed through the API is billed like any call, by voice.

Watch out for this

A key with Place calls can ring real customers, billed like any call. Revoking a key stops everything using it at once.

What stays your job

Keep your keys and secrets safe, and check every signature. Calls your systems place must still follow your own consent rules.

FAQ

API and webhooks: questions

Can I see a key again?
No. A key is shown in full once. If it is lost, revoke it and create another.
Does Do-Not-Call still apply to API calls?
Yes. Calls placed with a key go through the same checks as a manual dial.
What happens if my server is down?
The delivery fails and shows in the history. If the last 50 all fail, the webhook pauses itself, and events while paused are not sent later.
What if my plan drops API access?
Keys are refused and webhooks are not sent until the plan includes it again.
