Languages తెలుగు

Telugu customers hear respect in "garu" and "andi" first.

మీ customers తో వారి తెలుగులోనే, గౌరవంగా మాట్లాడండి.

For Hyderabad lead calls, district reminders and support across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, in Telugu that uses English where people do.

Live demo

Talk to Riya, and ask for Telugu.

Riya starts in Hinglish in your browser, with no sign-up. Say "Telugu mein baat kijiye" and she follows you.

Telugu + EnglishCity and district differ

Hyderabad lead calls mix English freely. District calls stay closer to everyday Telugu. Write for the list in front of you.

Meeru, garuRespect, straight away

Use "meeru", with "garu" after a name. Together they signal respect from the very first line.

Every voice tierFrom Standard to Ultra Premium

Telugu is on all four voice tiers, with ready-made templates for jobs like order delivery, clinic appointments and school admissions.

Why Telugu matters

Two states, three kinds of Telugu, one rule about respect

Telangana, coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema sound different from each other. What stays the same is that a business call has to show respect early.

Garu

A name alone sounds rude

"Srinivas" on its own is how a friend speaks. "Srinivas garu" is how a business calls. It costs one word and changes the whole call.

Hyderabad

Urdu and Hindi are in the mix

Hyderabad speech often carries Urdu and Hindi words. A script written in pure coastal Telugu can sound like it came from somewhere else.

-andi

The small word on every line

"Avunu" becomes "avunandi" and "sare" becomes "sarenandi". Write it in. Without it, the agent sounds abrupt however polite the words are.

How the agent soundsSrinivas గారు, మీ site visit ఈ ఆదివారం పెట్టమంటారా అండి?
Districts

Guntur is not Warangal

Coastal and Rayalaseema speech differ from Telangana speech in words and in rhythm. Try your script on your own list before you scale it up.

Reminders

Give people a way to say when

A reminder in Telugu goes better as a question than a demand. Ask when they can pay, and then keep to what they said.

How the agent soundsపర్లేదండి. మీకు వీలైనప్పుడు చెప్పండి, నేను WhatsApp లో payment link పంపిస్తాను.
Clinics, schools

Calls that reach the family

Appointment and admission calls often reach a parent or relative. Everyday Telugu, with the day and time said clearly, works for everyone listening.

Conversation nuance

Test by region, not just by language

A Telugu script is rarely wrong everywhere. It tends to be right in one region and a little off in another, so listen to calls from each.

Bookish Telugu is a giveaway

Written forms such as "మాట్లాడవచ్చా" are fine in a template, but spoken forms sound warmer. Read your script aloud and change what sounds like a letter.

Numbers often stay in English

Amounts, dates and flat numbers are usually said in English on city calls. District customers may prefer Telugu, so check which your list uses.

Telangana words, Andhra words

Everyday words can differ between the two states. If your list covers both, choose words that both understand rather than one region's favourite.

Set it in your script

Use "meeru" with "garu" after a name. It signals respect straight away. Hyderabad speech often carries Urdu and Hindi words. Coastal and Rayalaseema speech differs, so test on your own list.
