Urdu customers notice the adab before they hear the offer.

اپنے customers سے انہی کی اردو میں، ادب سے بات کیجیے۔

For clinic, retail and loan calls in Hyderabad, Lucknow and across north India. Urdu is on Premium and Ultra Premium voices, not on Standard.

Live demo

Talk to Riya, and ask for Urdu.

Riya starts in Hinglish in your browser, with no sign-up. Say "Urdu mein baat kijiye" and she follows you.

Urdu + EnglishCourteous, with business words kept

Order, payment and appointment stay in English. The courtesy around them should be real Urdu, not Hindi with a new accent.

Aap, sahabCourtesy carries a lot of weight

Use "aap", with "sahab" or "sahiba" where your brand does. Politeness is not decoration here, it is the point.

Premium voicesPremium and Ultra Premium only

Urdu is not on Standard voices, and there is no ready-made template yet, so you write the script and choose a voice tier that has it.

Why Urdu matters

Urdu is not Hindi in another script

The two share everyday grammar. They differ in vocabulary, in courtesy and in what sounds right to someone who chooses Urdu over Hindi.

Adab first

Begin with courtesy

"Aadaab" and a polite request for a minute of someone's time set the tone. Going straight to the offer sounds abrupt to many Urdu speakers.

Shukriya

Word choice shows who you are

"Shukriya" over "dhanyavaad", "mushkil" over "kathinai". Sanskrit-heavy Hindi words tell an Urdu speaker the call was not written for them.

Tum is out

Respect in every verb

"Bataiye", "farmaiye", "dekh lijiye": the respectful forms are part of the language. Write them in, and keep them in even when the call is about money.

How the agent soundsآداب، جناب۔ کیا میں آپ کا دو منٹ لے سکتی ہوں؟ آپ کی appointment کے بارے میں call ہے۔
Hyderabad, Lucknow

Not one spoken Urdu

Hyderabadi speech has its own words and rhythm, and Lucknow's courtesy has its own. Write for one, then test on the other before you use it.

Reminders

Courtesy matters most about money

A reminder said with care is heard differently from one that sounds like a notice. Thank the customer for the date they give you.

How the agent soundsکوئی بات نہیں، جناب۔ میں WhatsApp پر payment link بھیج دیتی ہوں۔
Your own script

No template yet

There is no ready-made Urdu template, so have a native speaker write the first draft. Then listen to test calls before you put it on a real list.

Conversation nuance

Getting Urdu right takes a real Urdu reader

An Urdu script should be written in Urdu, by someone who speaks it, and not converted from a Hindi one. Three things to look for when you test it.

Heavy Persian is as wrong as heavy Hindi

Words from poetry and old letters sound grand and distant. Choose the everyday Urdu a courteous shopkeeper in Charminar or Aminabad would use.

Sahab and sahiba need a name and a gender

Getting these wrong is worse than leaving them out. If your list does not reliably tell you, use "janab" or just a polite "aap".

Verbs show the speaker's gender

Our demo agents say "بھیج دیتی ہوں". If you choose a male voice, change the verbs in your script to match it.

Set it in your script

Use "aap" with "sahab" or "sahiba" where your brand does. Courtesy carries a lot of weight. Available on Premium and Ultra Premium voices only, not on Standard.

Everywhere you call

Urdu travels with the call.

Inbound calls

A customer rings your number, and the agent picks up.

Web calls

A visitor talks from your website, with no phone needed.

Workflows

The next step runs from what was said on the call.

One agent speaking Urdu, with the script, the next step and the hand-over in one place.

Outbound calls

The agent rings your lead, within your calling hours.

Campaigns

A whole list, with each result saved on the contact.

Your team

A person takes over and reads what has been said.

FAQ

Urdu questions, answered.

Which voice tiers speak Urdu?
Premium, Ultra Premium. What you can use also depends on your plan: Standard is on every plan, Ultra starts at Growth, Premium at Professional, and Ultra Premium is on Enterprise.
Are there ready-made Urdu agents?
Not yet. You can still set any agent to Urdu, write your own greeting, or describe the job to Build with AI.
Can the agent follow a customer who changes language?
Yes, if you turn on Multilingual mode for that agent. It then replies in the language the caller speaks. Without it, the agent stays in the language you chose.
Can we change the tone and questions of Urdu calls?
Yes. You set the greeting, questions, level of formality, objection handling, when to hand over, and which details to capture, for each agent.
How do I check the Urdu before customers hear it?
An agent takes test calls only until you press Go live. Call it yourself in your browser, ideally with a native speaker from your team, and adjust the script.
Does it connect to our CRM?
From the Growth plan, you can connect a CRM and your own WhatsApp or SMS account. Workflows decide what happens after each call, and you can test them first.
Can a person take over the call?
Yes. On Professional and Enterprise, the call can move to a person on the right desk with a private brief, and desks can have their own language.
