Your leads already talk in Hinglish. Your calls should too.
Aapke customers jaise bolte hain, agent bhi waise hi.
For lead calls, admissions and EMI reminders in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad: Hindi sentences, English words for price and plan.
Talk to Riya, and ask for Hinglish.
Riya starts in Hinglish, in your browser, with no sign-up. Interrupt whenever you like.
Hinglish has its own setting. The agent speaks Hindi sentences and keeps words like EMI, plan and payment in English.
A casual mix can still be respectful. Write "aap" and "ji" into your script, and use first names only if your customer does.
Ready-made Hinglish templates cover jobs like loan reminders, order delivery and course enquiries. Edit the words to fit your brand.
Pure Hindi sounds stiff on a lead call. So does pure English.
Urban customers rarely choose one or the other on the phone. They talk in the mix, and a call that matches it sounds like a person from their own city.
Some words are never translated
Nobody in Gurugram asks about "masik kisht". Leave money and product words in English, or the agent sounds like a government form.
A lead decides in the first lines
Someone who filled a form on their phone wants the answer, not an introduction. Keep the opening short and get to their question.
Ask one thing at a time
Spoken Hinglish moves in short bursts. Long sentences that work on paper feel like a script read aloud.
How the agent soundsBas do minute lagenge. Aapko weekend batch chahiye ya weekday? The mix is not the same everywhere
Delhi NCR leans Hindi, while Bengaluru and Pune calls may carry more English. Tune the script to your list rather than a national average.
Objections come in the mix too
Price pushback is rarely formal. A reply that uses the same words the customer used feels like a conversation, not a pitch.
How the agent soundsSamajh sakti hoon. EMI option bhi hai, main details WhatsApp par bhej deti hoon. When a caller prefers one side
Some people want plain Hindi or plain English. The agent stays in Hinglish unless you turn on Multilingual mode, which lets it follow them.

The language of most urban lead calls: Hindi sentences with English words for price, plan, payment and time.
Real conversations, the way they go.
How your agent can handle the calls that come up most in Hinglish. These are examples, and you set the words.
Lead qualification
An admissions enquiry from someone in Delhi NCR who filled a form.
Payment reminder
A personal loan EMI that is a few days past its due date.
Customer support
An online order that has not arrived, and a customer thinking about a refund.
Getting the mix right is the whole job
Hinglish has no rulebook, which is why generic scripts get it wrong. These are the things to listen for on your first test calls.
"Bhugtan" and "vyaj dar" have no place on a sales call. If a word would sound odd said across a shop counter, use the English one.
If every clause is English, the customer hears a call centre. Keep the verbs, the politeness and the small words in Hindi.
People say EMI amounts and dates in a mix of both. Choose one way to say them in your script and keep it the same for the whole call.
Use "aap" and "ji" by default. Switch to first names only if your customer does. Leave words like EMI, order, plan and payment in English. Translating them sounds strange.
