Connect your CRM and lead sources

Bring leads in from files, sheets, lead forms or your CRM, and send call outcomes back.

All guides

Before you start

  • Your CRM login, or the keys it gives you.
  • CRM connections are on Growth and above. Lead sources are on every plan, up to its limit.
  1. Decide what you keep on a contact

In Contact Fields, add what you need beyond a name and a number. A field's key is fixed once saved. A spreadsheet column with that key fills it on import, and workflows use it as {{key}}. After each call, a field the customer mentioned is filled in if it is still empty.

  2. Add your lead sources

In Contact Sources, press Add source. A file is read when you import it. A sheet keeps coming in only if Read the sheet every hour is on, or when you press Sync now. Facebook and Instagram lead forms come in through your connected Page. If Facebook stops sharing a Page's contacts, Needs you says so.

  3. Connect your CRM

In Integrations, find your CRM. We connect Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Odoo, eBhaya and NeoDove, plus Zapier and Slack. Add the details, then press Test on the row. Connected only means the details are saved. A pass shows as Verified.

  4. Bring CRM leads in

A CRM's lead address carries its own key, so treat it like a password. Paste it into the CRM's new-lead webhook.

  5. Send outcomes back

When a person saves an outcome after a call was already pushed, HubSpot, Odoo, Zoho and Salesforce get the same record updated. eBhaya, NeoDove, Zapier and Slack get a second message marked as an update. It is never a second call.

  6. Connect your messaging accounts

WhatsApp and SMS connect on Growth and above, and email on Professional and Enterprise. You get one account of each kind per workspace, and saving a different provider replaces the old one. Without an approved template, WhatsApp reaches only people who wrote to you in the last 24 hours.

    Where:Integrations

  7. Join it up with a workflow

In Workflows, start from a trigger such as New Contact, Meta Ad Lead or Call Ends, and join the steps in order. Only an active workflow runs, and only from the moment you switch it on. Test workflow is a rehearsal: nothing is sent and nobody is called.

    Where:Workflows

  8. Use the API for the rest

On Growth and above, Developers creates API keys and webhooks. A key is shown in full only once. Each webhook delivery is signed, and a webhook whose last 50 deliveries all failed pauses itself and says so.

    Where:Developers

Costs and what to watch

  • A Call contact step places a real, billed call to a real person, and a send step messages real customers. Read what a workflow will do before you switch it on.
  • Disconnect stops every workflow step and alert that sends through that account, straight away.
  • A paused Facebook Page ignores new submissions. They are not collected later.
